Bengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for including Karnataka under the list of ‘Atal Bhujal Yojana’.
Taking to Twitter, the CM wrote: “I thank Prime Minister @narendramodi for including Karnataka under the water conservation and development scheme ‘Atal Bhujal Yojana’. I believe that this scheme worth Rs 6000 crores will help stabilize the water conservation system.”

It can be recalled that the scheme was launched yesterday, i.e on Wednesday, December 25, marking 95th birth anniversary of the late prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Vigyan Bhavan by PM Modi and Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
