Bengaluru: Amid growing fears of ‘Operation Kamala’, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy met with AICC Karnataka in-charge K C Venugopal and KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao at a private hotel in the city.

According to sources in the Congress party, HDK discussed the various political developments with the Congress leaders during this meeting. He also lodged a complaint against the Congress’ Mandya leaders for letting Nikhil Kumaraswamy down in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polling in the constituency.

Apart from this, he requested the Congress leadership to resolve the problems of the Congress legislators who are threatening to move to the BJP as part of ‘Operation Kamala’.

While returning from the meeting, the CM declined to speak with the media persons who were waiting for him. Stating that he has boycotted the media for being one-sided, he accused them of portraying the state government in a bad light.

“I have boycotted the media. Don’t come to me seeking bytes,” he said.
