Bengaluru: A constable who was suspended in 2021 for allegedly robbing red sanders from a seller’s gang is now selected as a PSI.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) which is investigating the selection list of 545 PSIs revealed that Mamatesh who was suspended in 2021 was selected as PSI by securing 27th rank.
Following this, Mamatesh was arrested by CID. According to the sources, he paid a huge sum to agents to get selected for the PSI post.
Meanwhile, another Police Constable was also arrested by the CID who was selected as PSI. He also allegedly used agents to get selected for the post.
