Containment zones in B’luru stands at 106

Bengaluru: According to a bulletin issued by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) on Monday December 20, the number of containment zones in Bengaluru has crossed 100 and is now at 106.

As per the data, Bommanahalli has 39 containment zones, Bengaluru South has 24, Mahadevapura has 12, Bengaluru East has 10, Bengaluru West has eight, Yelahanka has seven, RR Nagar has 4, and Dasarahalli has 2.

In Bengaluru, there are currently 158 wards that have reported more than 10 positive cases in the last 10 days.

Over the last 7 days, the positivity rate has been 0.41 per cent. Bellandur ward has recorded the most cases in the last 10 days, with seven, followed by Dodda Nekkundi and Begur wards, each with five cases.
