Anekal: A fire that broke out at a pharmaceutical factory in the Jigani industrial area on Saturday afternoon led to millions of rupees of damage.
A sudden fire at the Stevens Pharmaceutical Drug Factory appeared in the afternoon and engulfed all parts of the factory in just a few moments. The factory crew that was inside the premises during the accident, ran out to save their lives.
The factory’s three-story building was entirely engulfed in fire destroying the drug list, the raw materials, and the furniture in the building. Damage and loss amounting to millions of rupees are being calculated.
The Fire Brigade Services was able to douse the fire in the entirety.
