Davanagere: A close aide of MP Renukacharya was assaulted by miscreants on the night of Monday October 17.
The victim, Prajwal, has been admitted to the Taluk Hospital.
Following the incident, Renukacharya visited Prajwal in the hospital to enquire about his health.
Even though the reason for the attack is unknown, it is assumed that Prajwal was attacked because of a disagreement that happened during the Ganpati immersion ceremony.
