Davanagere: Miscreants broke into an unguarded ATM of a private bank in Challakere Road and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash on the night of Sunday September 18.
The crime was reported to police on Monday morning, and they have requested footage from the CCTV camera placed inside the ATM kiosk to find out what happened and identify the culprit.
The bank is yet to provide information on the actual amount of money that was stolen.
A case has been filed, and further investigation is on.
