Davanagere: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s 75th birthday will be celebrated on August 3 in the City, which is likely to be Congress mega show for the upcoming State Assembly Election.
A committee has been formed for this celebration. The committee has 129 members. Former Minister R. V. Deshpande will be the Honorary President of this Committee.
A team led by Former Minister Basavaraja Rayareddy is already started working on this event which will be held at land that belongs to Former Minister Shamanur Shivashankarappa.
The Committee President is K. N. Rajanna, a Former Lawmaker from Tumakuru. Hebbal MLA Bhyrati Suresh is the Treasurer.
According to sources All India Congress Committee Leaders Rahul Gandhi, K. C. Venugopal, and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) State Chief D. K. Shivakumar will participate in this event.
The idea of event is to send a clear signal to the State that Siddu is here to roar again.
