Diesel rate crosses Rs 100 mark in three districts of K’taka

Bengaluru: In three districts of the State, the diesel rate has crossed Rs. 100 mark.

In Uttara Kannada, Ballari, and the newly formed Vijayanagar districts, the diesel rate is now above Rs.100 per litre.

In Uttara Kannada district a litre of diesel was sold for Rs.100.12 while it was Rs.100.03 in Ballari and Vijayanagar districts.

With the central government revising the rate almost on a daily basis, the diesel rate is above Rs.98 in all the districts of the state including Bengaluru. In Bengaluru a litre of diesel is Rs.98.52 while a litre of petrol is sold for Rs.107.77
