Bengaluru: The State Water Resource Minister D K Shivakumar holding a closed door meeting with the Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former union foreign affairs minister S M Krishna at his residence, here on Wednesday, May 1, has raised the curious brows in the political fraternity.
After the hour-long meeting , DKShi said that there was nothing fishy and that he had gone to convey his birthday wishes to S M Krishna.
To the question on Mysuru District In-charge Minister G T Deve Gowda’s statement of Janata Dal (S) supporters voting for BJP, he refused to comment and said, “If it is anything related to me, I am in a position to answer. To clarify on such issues, I am not a Congress party spokesperson. It would be better if everyone in Congress and Janata Dal (S) followed the principle of coalition like I am following it with utmost responsibility.”
Meanwhile, BJP Mysuru Lok Sabha candidate and sitting MP Pratap Simha, who was at Krishna’s residence in Sadashivanagar, sought the blessings from DKShi, by touching his feet.
