Ed Raids In Bengaluru, Mysuru Over Muda Corruption Allegations (1)

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at nine locations in Bengaluru and Mysuru, investigating alleged irregularities linked to the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA). The operation targeted MUDA officials and real estate developers suspected of financial misconduct. A significant search took place at a builder’s luxury residence in Bengaluru’s Dollar’s Colony, where ED officials reportedly found evidence of substantial financial transactions.

RTI activist Snehamayi Krishna provided “video evidence” supporting his complaint. The video, showing a ₹25 lakh cash transaction, allegedly involves MUDA-related dealings. Krishna urged the ED to summon the individuals involved and scrutinize the evidence.

The MUDA case centers on compensatory land allotments, including 14 plots allotted to a woman named Parvathi in Mysuru’s Vijayanagar area, in exchange for undeveloped land. After public scrutiny, Parvathi announced her intention to return the plots.
