Bengaluru: At just 24, Bengaluru-based entrepreneur Akash Narayan has achieved a milestone many aspire to—purchasing his first home worth ₹1.8 crore. But for the founder of legal-tech startup Legalit, the achievement is more than a financial success; it is the culmination of years of perseverance, family support and entrepreneurial grit.

Narayan, whose startup reportedly generates ₹13 crore in annual gross revenue, shared his journey on social media, saying the accomplishment belonged not only to him but also to the people who stood by him through difficult times.

Dream home near Electronic City

Narayan has purchased an apartment at Casagrand Vivacity, near Electronic City in Bengaluru. The residential project is currently under construction, with possession expected by April 2027.

Sharing the news online, he wrote, “At 24, I just bought my first apartment. Looking back, this milestone isn’t just mine. It belongs to my family, my mentors, my team and the friends who kept me grounded through every step of the journey.”

Speaking about the achievement, Narayan revealed that he grew up in a challenging household where owning a home once seemed like a distant dream.

He said his mother’s constant encouragement gave him the confidence to continue despite uncertainty, while his early team believed in both him and an unproven product when the company was just starting.

Rather than celebrating the milestone alone, he chose to publicly acknowledge everyone who played a role in his journey.

Building Legalit from scratch

According to his LinkedIn profile, Narayan studied at St. Joseph’s College of Law before pursuing Data Science at Manipal University Jaipur. He founded Legalit in 2023, developing a practice management platform for legal professionals.

His inspiring story has resonated with many on social media, with users congratulating him on his achievement and praising his humility in recognising the contributions of his family and colleagues.

For Narayan, buying his first home is not the destination but the beginning of a new chapter in his entrepreneurial journey.
