Belthangady: A fresh complaint against Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade has been filed with the Belthangady police alleging Dr Heggade of misusing the land purchased by him for Shanthivana Trust with the aim of expanding the Samaja Mandira building.
According to an FIR, Dr Heggade had bought 20 cents of land adjacent to the Mandir in 1989 with the intention of developing the Samaja Mandir building. However, he instead of meeting the purpose ended up constructing a building, which is of no use to the Mandira.
The complainant is Ranjan Rao Yerdur of Nagarika Seva Trust.
Yerdur has also submitted documents pertaining to the case. After verifying the documents in the departments concerned, FIR has been registered against Heggade.
