Four months later, 9-year-old girl from Kushalnagar gets mother’s phone

Bengaluru: On May 24, the social media was taken away by an emotional appeal made by Hrutheeksha, a 9-year-old girl and resident of  Kushalanagar. She had appealed to all seeking help to recover her deceased mother K. T. Prabha’s mobile phone which was missing from Kodagu District Covid – 19 hospital in Madikeri. She has appealed that she has the memory of her mother on the mobile phone.

K. T. Prabha succumbed to Covid – 19 on May 16. Since then this little girl was searching for her mother’s phone which was missing from the district hospital.

The Kodagu Police had formed a special team to trace the mobile phone. On Thursday August 19 they finally recovered the smart phone from the hospital godown. It was handed over to the girl by Superintendent of Police 
Kshama Mishra.

According to the authorities, the data in the smart phone is intact. However, the cover is changed. The police have decided to continue the investigation.
