Govt identifies 430 illegal layouts in State

Bengaluru: The State Government has identified 430 illegal layouts across the State.

According to authorities, 90 per cent of these illegal layouts are built by individual real estate owners and 10 per cent by various organisations.

The highest number of such illegal layouts have come up in Chikkaballapura District with 167 layouts marked as illegal. Mysuru is in the second position with 91 layouts. In Bengaluru City, 9 layouts are notified as illegal.

In Gadag District, 62 layouts are considered illegal.

Now, the State government is planning to initiate action against the owners and ensure justice for the site owners.
