Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a groom and his family members walked out of a wedding over ‘badly’ cooked rasam and sambar that was served to the guests.
The incident took place in Kollapuradamma hall, Kunigal, Tumakuru district of Karnataka during the reception on the eve of the marriage ceremony, as per media reports.
It has been reported that the 27-year-old groom on witnessing his parents quarelling with the bride’s father over the poor quality of the sambar and rasam at the function, stood up while the marriage rituals were in order and walked out along with his parents.
The bride’s parents were still in shock and worried about the future of their daughter when a youth, a distant relative from the girl’s side volunteered for the marriage.
