Bengaluru: Following a series of accidents in the industrial units, the state labour department issued a notification making Group C and D job openings exclusive for the locals in the state.
This move has been done keeping in mind the ability of the Group C and D personnel to speak in Kannada language.A notification in this regard was issued on Saturday evening.
According to the documents, between 2011 and 2019, most of the accidents in the factories resulted as the employees were not able to understand the Kannada language. To avoid these kinds of accidents it has been decided to keep the jobs open only for Kannadigas.
