Bengaluru: Former prime minister and JDS supremo, H D Devegowda and former CM and Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader, Siddaramaiah will hold joint rallies between April 9 and 13 in major cities of the state that are going to polls on April 18.
According to the tentative schedule, Gowda and Siddu will hold a joint rally followed by a road show in Mysuru on April 9. In Mysuru, the JDS’ support is crucial for the Congress to defeat BJP candidate Pratap Simha.
The leaders will rally on April 10 in Tumakuru, April 11 in Hassan, April 12 in Mandya and on April 13 they will hold a joint rally and meeting in Bengaluru.
“We are busy finalising the venues of all these meetings and road shows,” informed a JDS leader.
