Bengaluru: Bangalore has begun to welcome the harsh summer which has made its way already in the month of February. In fact, the Indian Meteorological Department has stated that the temperature of the city has now crossed 33 degree celsius. 

While the maximum temperature recorded this year was 34.2 degrees, which Bangalore saw on the 9th of February, it just has one more degree to go to break the record of the highest temperature of 35.9 which the city saw back then in 2009. 

However, Bangaloreans can seek consolation from the fact that they can enjoy a normal monsoon season this year, with showers that could arrive by the end of this month, with an average rainfall of 7mm. 

This means the weather would be neutral by the months of June and July. Bangaloreans can also seek solace from the fact that there are places in Karnataka that have had it worse, with the temperature going up to 40 degrees in Bellary back in 2016. 

Karwar and Kalaburagi have seen a little less with temperatures of 38.8 degrees and 37.6 degrees respectively.
