Bengaluru: BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal claims that he was approached by some people who offered him the position of State Chief Minister in exchange for Rs. 2,500 Crore. However, the Former Union Minister did not name anyone, stating that such “fraud” companies exist.
“Understand one thing about politics, don’t get spoiled. You will meet many politicians who will promise to get you a ticket, take you to Delhi, and introduce you to Sonia Gandhi and J. P. Nadda. It has been done to people like myself. Some people from Delhi had come to me and claimed they would make me Chief Minister if I could raise Rs. 2,500 Crore,” Yatnal said.
Speaking at an event on Thursday May 4 he asked those who approached him whether they knew how much Rs. 2,500 Crore was and “where to hide it, in a room or a godown.
