Bengaluru: Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) is set to expand its footprint in Bengaluru with the development of a new Gateway hotel in Yeshwantpur, further boosting the city’s growing hospitality sector.

According to industry updates, the upcoming property is expected to feature 286 rooms (keys) and is targeted to open by 2028.

Gateway brand expands in Bengaluru

The proposed hotel will operate under IHCL’s Gateway brand, which caters to business and leisure travellers seeking upscale hospitality experiences. Yeshwantpur has emerged as a key destination due to its strategic connectivity through rail, metro and road networks, making it an attractive location for hospitality and commercial investments.

Hospitality sector continues to grow

The new hotel reflects the continued confidence of leading hospitality players in Bengaluru’s tourism and business travel market. With the city witnessing sustained demand for quality accommodation from corporate travellers, tourists and event visitors, several hotel projects are currently in various stages of development.

The 286-room Gateway hotel is expected to contribute to the city’s premium hospitality infrastructure and support the increasing demand for modern accommodation in northwestern Bengaluru.

IHCL has indicated that the project is targeted for completion and opening by 2028
