Indian Doctor in UK Achieves Milestone in Medical Research

Bengaluru: In a significant stride for medical science, Dr. Sharanya Rajan, an esteemed Bengaluru-based doctor working in the United Kingdom, has reached a milestone in her groundbreaking medical research, earning accolades for her dedication and contributions to advancing healthcare.

Dr. Sharanya Rajan studied at MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital and later worked at Fortis Hospital, Bengaluru. Currently, she is a General Practitioner (GP) Registrar practicing in the De Parys Group (NHS Services), UK, spearheading efforts to revolutionize healthcare through innovative technology. She collaborates with several scientists and doctors to incorporate cutting-edge solutions into her medical practice. Colleagues and peers in the medical community have praised Dr. Sharanya for her relentless pursuit of excellence and ability to address research gaps.

The doctor’s research has garnered attention for its potential to revolutionize current medical practices and provide new hope for patients facing challenging health conditions. Dr. Sharanya’s work has not only demonstrated her commitment to scientific inquiry but has also showcased the significant impact that her findings could have on improving patient outcomes. Her works are featured in Google Scholar and other research impact sites.

Dr. Sharanya was recently invited to the NetHealth Workshop organized at the Chancery Pavilion, Bengaluru to present her research work on “Dementia: Opportunities and Challenges of Technology-Assisted Interventions”. The article is published in the reputed International IEEE Xplore. Now, she is currently working on “Planetary Mental Healthcare” which focuses on the interconnectedness between environmental factors, planetary health, mental well-being, and technology.

In a statement, Dr. Sharanya expressed her gratitude for the support from the medical community and highlighted the collaborative efforts that have contributed to the success of her research.
