Bengaluru: IT major Infosys has silently set out to open its second campus in Bengaluru. According to the sources, Infosys has decided to reserve 1.77 lakh square feet space in the upcoming Karle Town Ship, near Nagawara, which has the status of IT Special Economic Zone (IT-SEZ).
According to the sources, this campus will accommodate 1,600 employees.
Originally Infosys had decided to set up its second campus in Bengaluru North in 2014 itself. But due to the non-availability of suitable land it could not open the new campus all these years. According to the sources by mid 2018, this second campus may become operationalized.
