Bengaluru: MLA of Mangaluru South constituency J R Lobo will be the chairman of state legislative backward class and minority welfare committee, effective August 21. This was announced by the office of the Karnataka state legislative assembly speaker, Kagodu Thimmappa.
Lobo is also member of regional task force for the development of DK and Udupi districts, external member of jury for National School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, panel member of Administrative Training Institute, Mysuru, and member of Academic Council of Mangalore University.
