Bengaluru: Former Minister G. Janardhan Reddy has sought time till Wednesday to file reply for the recent notice from the Income Tax Department to explain the expenditure of his daughter’s lavish wedding.
Reddy was expected to reply by Friday to the 15 questions posed by the IT department seeking details of all the service providers for the wedding, their contact numbers, bills settled, details of modes of payment, and the source of income for the expenditures incurred. Meanwhile, it is said that film actor Saikumar, to whom the wedding arrangements was outsourced and also served I-T notice, filed his reply to the IT department on Friday.
