ORR to continue work from home

Bengaluru: Citing metro construction work between KR Puram and Silk Board Junction, the State government advised IT companies located on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) to continue Work From Home (WFH) till December 2022.

E.V. Ramana Reddy, Additional Chief Secretary to the government (IT, BT), sent an advisory in this regard.

Since metro construction will last for about 1.5 to 2 years, this suggestion is given to reduce traffic congestion, according to the advisory.

He requested the companies to use the BMTC buses if the physical presence is mandatory at the base station.

If the companies can’t provide WFH they are advised to provide staggered working hours.
