Bengaluru: To improve their marks, the Department of Pre-University Education will be holding an offline open book examination for the first-year pre-university students.

A department official said that two model question papers will be uploaded on the department’s website on June 10 and another around June 26. The students will be given a period of 10 days to answer the question papers after which they will have to submit them to their teachers. The students can also mail the teachers the answer scripts.

The assessment of the answer sheets will be done before July 20.

It can be recalled here that the Department had already cancelled the year-end examination and plans to promoted all the students with some grading.
