Bengaluru: The State police will host a hackathon on February 4 and 5, where developers, start-ups, and college students are asked to come up with technical solutions using data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
According to official sources, Microsoft, Intel, and IIIT-B are collaborating with the police through the Hack2skill initiative.
The goal of the hackathon is to address the police department’s problem statements. As many as 55 teams have been shortlisted for the hackathon. Cash prizes worth a total of Rs. 5 lakh have been earmarked for five different categories.
