Bengaluru: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange rain alert till August 5 for 16 districts in the State.
Bengaluru Urban/Rural, Mysuru, Kodagu, Kolar, Ramanagara, and Tumakuru are among the districts to receive heavy rainfall. The meteorological department predicts that Bengaluru will have isolated showers on August 4 with the possibility of heavy rainfall in parts of rural Bengaluru.
It also added that heavy rainfall is likely in the coastal Karnataka region and north Interior Karnataka till August 6.
