Bengaluru: Karnataka’s Health Department reported 462 new Covid-19 cases and nine deaths on Wednesday October 20, bringing the total number of cases and deaths to 29,84,484 and 37,976, respectively.
479 patients were discharged on the same day, bringing the total number of recoveries to 29,37,405. The Health Department bulletin stated that there were 9,074 active cases.
According to the data, Bengaluru Urban had the most cases with 253 and six deaths.
Other districts, including 43 in Mysuru, 32 in Tumakuru, 29 in Dakshina Kannada, 19 in Hassan, 15 in Udupi, 12 in Kodagu, and 10 in Mandya, reported new cases.
According to the bulletin, twenty-seven districts had no fatalities.
The Case Fatality Rate was 1.94 percent, with a positivity rate of 0.39 percent for the day.
So far, a total of 1,16,121 samples were tested, bringing the total number of specimens tested to 4.97 crore.
According to the report, the total number of vaccinations administered in the State has risen to 6.15 crore, with 1,62,668 people receiving vaccinations on Wednesday.
