Bengaluru: The Education Department has announced the preliminary results of the graduate teacher recruitment. Over 833 teachers have been selected for the position of primary teachers, with 575 selected for the Dakshina Kannada District and 258 selected for the Udupi District (classes 6 to 8).
The final list is expected to be almost the same, with a few minor changes. According to officials, the final list will be made public in a few days.
Newly appointed teachers are expected to report to their assigned schools in January and continue their work after the recruitment process is complete.
Similarly, a new selection process for high school teachers is expected to take place in February. In a few days, the official announcement is expected to be published.
