Bengaluru: All India Congress Committee (AICC) leader Rahul Gandhi’s ambitious Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter the State from Chamarajanagara and he will walk 510 kilometres for 22 days in the State.
Keeping in mind the traffic issues, Rahul decided not to visit Bengaluru in his padayatra. Instead, he will return from Tumakuru.
He will enter the State from Kerala via Bandipur road to Gundlupet in Chamarajanagara. From Chamarajanagara he will reach Mysuru. He will then reach Raichur from Mandya, Tumakuru, Chitradurga, and Ballari before entering Telangana.
According to sources, the dates of this yatra are yet to be finalised.
“Rahul Gandhi’s padayatra expected to swing the party fortunes in the State which is going for election in March/ April 2023,” explained a Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) leader.
