Speaking to mediapersons, Save Sharada Committee Founder Ravinder Pandita said that the Kartarpur Gurudwara was reopened after 72 years, and the Indian and Pakistan counterparts formed a draft and inked the same. On the same lines, why not Sharada Temple pilgrimage be opened. I have travelled to Kartarpur, why am I not allowed to travel to Sharada Peetha?”
The committee has also demanded that regular prayers be commenced in the temple. The Committee members were here to check the progress of the construction of a new Sharada Base Camp Temple at Teetwal near the Line of Control, which is being sculpted using granite rock on Magadi Road in the City.
