Kolar: District Bar Association President G. Sridhar said that there is an opportunity to become a good lawyer through continuous study and one should move forward by maintaining the dignity of the legal profession.
He was speaking at the inauguration of a voluntary blood donation camp organised by the District Legal Services Authority, Rotary Association, Lions Blood Fund and Bar Association as part of Advocates’ Day celebrations at the Bar Association Auditorium in the City. Like every year, this year too, we have celebrated Lawyers’ Day by bringing together a lot of lawyers. On this day, along with the programme, a blood donation camp has been organised with the aim of contributing to the society and it is commendable that hundreds of lawyers have come forward to donate blood, he said.
Nowadays those who are injured in accidents, those who have undergone various diseases, and surgeries need blood. But, it cannot be made. On the basis of humanity, we, as human beings, should give blood and join hands to save another life, he added.
