Kolar: In an unexpected incident in which a lizard fell on a student’s food in the hostel at The Law College at Hasala on the outskirts of the City on October 19, the students of the Law College hostel have appealed to Zilla Panchayat CEO Yukesh Kumar to revoke warden’s suspension and continue his services as the hostel warden stating that the warden has got nothing to do with this incident.

Speaking on the occasion, the student leaders said that it was a fact that a lizard was found on the student’s plate while having breakfast. Immediately all the students got up and disnnot eat the breakfast. The warden too immediately arrived and admitted the said student to the District Hospital for treatment. As many as 34 students have been treated. No student has faced any kind of trouble. However, they said that they were saddened to learn that the hostel warden had been suspended the next day.

They said that it is a created a misconception about the warden and they alleged that someone has deliberately caused the incident to happen. So far 5 to 6 wardens have come to our hostel, they added and said that however, the students explained to the CEO that the existing warden has a good rapport with the students and it cannot be ignored. Thus they requested him to revoke his suspension and continue him as the hostel warden.
