Kolar: “I have forgotten the past. Former Union Minister K. H. Muniyappa, without naming the leaders of the Gathbandhan led by Ramesh Kumar, indirectly called upon them to shun factionalism and work together to bring the party to power.

He was speaking at a preparatory meeting convened by K. H. Muniyappa near the party office here on Monday December 5 with the aim of holding a Congress convention in Kolar in the last week of December. The party’s organisation and the victory of the party’s candidates will be hampered as some people are holding separate meetings without creating confusion among the party workers and not creating unity. Realising this, he warned everyone to take everyone into confidence and hold meetings from now on.

“If Siddaramaiah comes to Kolar, we will welcome him and work hard for his victory,” he said and added that he would urge the High Command to give tickets to locals if they did not want to contest here.
