KPCC Chief to contest 2018 polls from Koratagere

Bengaluru: KPCC president Dr G Parameshwar announced that he is contesting from Koratagere constituency in the state assembly election 2018.

Addressing a mammoth gathering at Sira on Sunday he announced that he has received invitations from 18 constituencies to contest the election.

“But I have decided to contest again from Koratagere where I was defeated in 2013 election,” he announced.

He stated that there is no question of migrating to any other constituency or continuing as an MLC. “Koratagere is my birth place and I will fight my election from there,” he said.

He also stated that it will be his last election. “It will be my last direct election. I will say good bye to election politics with this election,” he announced.
