Bengaluru: KSRTC employees’ strike loses steam with 855 buses being operated on Friday.
According to the sources on Saturday, many morning schedules are operational with several employees turning up for duty fearing disciplinary action.
On Friday, the KSRTC suspended 120 employees besides transferring 287 employees. With the state government is not in a mood to hold talks with the employees, the strike continued.
According to the sources, following the fear of Covid 19 second wave, the passenger occupancy rate is declining. The demand for the services is also average.
According to an estimation over 4,000 private buses are now operational on the KSRTC routes. This brought down the impact of the strike.
