Bengaluru: Sri Rama Sena said on Wednesday May 18 that it is preparing a list of illegal places of worship in the State, according to its claims.

Sene Chief Pramod Muthalik said that they have prepared a list of about 500 such alleged illegal places of worship operating in residences, marriage halls and community buildings in as many as four districts. Once we finish all the districts we will submit it to the Government by the month end, he added.

Muthalik said he has told the District Chiefs of Sene to submit their list of such places in next three to four days. He added that the drive began soon after the Cabinet gave its nod to the Karnataka Protection of Right to Freedom of Religion Ordinance-2022 and was intensified after the Governor gave his assent to the ordinance.
