Bengaluru: Bengaluru’s Madiwala lake overflowed on Thursday October 14 due to heavy rainfall in the State. Several areas, including BTM Layout, HSR Layout, Anugraha Layout, and Madiwala, were flooded.
For the next three days, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains to very heavy rainfall in isolated areas across Karnataka.
Due to heavy rainfall on Monday October 11, the City experienced a flood-like situation. Several areas, including Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL), were seen flooded. Waterlogging on the road made it difficult for passengers to get to the airport.
It has been reported that due to heavy rains, a man was killed by a short circuit in a flooded house in the Konappana Agrahara limits of the City.
