Bengaluru: The body of Kannada actor Anil, who drowned along with another actor Uday, was retrieved out of Thippagondanahalli reservoir on the wee hours of Thursday, November 10.
Anil went missing after a daredevil stunt for the climax shoot of the Kannada movie Mastigudi on Monday afternoon. The NDRF personnel had a tough time to locate the mortal remains of the actor. Uday’s body was retrieved 48 hours after the mishap.
The post mortem of the body was conducted after which the body was handed over to the relatives.
Unfortunately, one of villagers, Yellaiah, drowned during the search operation. It is said that he slipped and drowned while watching the search operation. The search for his body is on now.
Over 300 police personnel, members of NDRF and fire department, and the swimming team from Puducherry were a part of the search operation.
