Bengaluru: After crisscrossing Ballari district over 10 days to campaign for the party candidate VS Ugrappa in the Lok Sabha by-election, major irrigation minister rushed to New Delhi. He is meeting senior leaders of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in Delhi, on Monday.
According to the sources, DKS left for New Delhi on Sunday evening. “When all other leaders are taking rest, DKS is busy making his next political move and is in the national capital to discuss with AICC leadership about the future of the party in the state, besides press for minister posts for his associates,” informed sources close to the minister.
Election responsibility?
If sources in the KPCC are to be believed, DKS is planning to join the Congress poll monitoring body for Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. His next destination is Karnataka CM post,” said sources.
“He is batting for minister post for Lakshmi Hebbalkar, his associate,” added sources.
