Bengaluru: In a sensational revelation, former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy alleged that Housing minister V Somanna used to steal clothes in Janatha Bazaar before becoming a minister.
Addressing a party rally in the Mahalakshmilayout, he stated that everyone knows Somanna’s background.
“He is famous for falling on the feet of leaders to get posts,” he said adding that if not for HD Deve Gowda, then disqualified MLA Gopalaiah would have been either killed in a police encounter or in an attack by his opposite rowdy gangs.
Reacting sharply to HDK’s allegation, minister Somanna stated that he will die in seconds if Kumaraswamy proves his allegation. “I never worked for any cloth store,” he said.
He also asked Kumaraswamy to refrain from making such statements which are far from the truth.
