Bengaluru: Police arrested a 25-year-old man on charges of stealing mobile phones and recovered seven of them worth Rs. 2.7 lakh.

The accused, Rafiq Ahmed, is a resident of Tippunagar in Chamarajpet.

According to sources, he stole a phone from a victim near a mosque in Kalasipalya at 11.30 am on Friday March 4, leading police to launch an investigation. By night, police tracked down Ahmed and arrested him after examining CCTV footage.
