Bengaluru: “The Muslim goondas have killed an innocent Bajrang Dal activist Harsha in Shivamogga,” alleged Rural Development Panchayat Raj Minister K. S. Eshwarappa. This is a sad development as he was a very honest activist. His death has pained us all, he said.
He was speaking to mediapersons on Monday February 21. These Muslim goondas in Shivamogga have received encouragement due to provocative statements made by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee D. K. Shivakumar. His statements have further emboldened the Muslim goondas, he alleged and added, “we will not let gondaism spread in Shivamogga and will nip it in the bud.
Minister said that the State Government is investigating the matter and I am going to visit Shivamogga to assess the situation. I have spoken to Home Minister Araga Jnanendra too in this regard.
Meanwhile Rashtriya Hindu Sena Chief Pramod Muthalik has agreed with Minister Eshwarappa’s statement, and Home Minister has informed mediapersons that the people behind the murder of Harsha have been identified and they will be behind bars soon.
