Bengaluru: Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister and Senior BJP Leader K. S. Eshwarappa on Thursday March 24 said that all Muslims and Christians of the nation will one day associate with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Speaking during a discussion in the Legislative Assembly, when the Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri used the term Our RSS, Eshwarappa remarked we will see that day when opposition too will agree to it.
The beginning was made by Opposition Leader and fo6rmer Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who referred to RSS stating that Personal relations were foremost, then came differences from ideology to party.
Speaker on a lighter note questioned Siddaramaiah as to why he was feeling troubled about “Our” RSS. Congress MLA Zameer Ahmed had an objection to this, and when Kageri said that everyone will embrace RSS, Zameer Ahmed answered that it would never happen. That is when Eshwarappa reiterated Kageri’s statement.
