Bengaluru: The newly-elected MLAs of both BJP, Congress and an independent MLA, will take oath in the Banquet hall of the Vidhana Soudha on Sunday, December 22, at 10 am.
According to information shared by the newly elected MLAs, speaker Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri will administer the oath. Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa will attend the event but BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel is yet to confirm his attendance.
According to BJP leaders, even the Congress MLAs agreed to take oath on the same day. “It is a good day and good muhurtham,” said a BJP leader.
