A newly opened hotel near Sompura Circle on NICE Road was gutted in a major fire incident, triggering panic in the area. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.

According to reports, the blaze broke out on Thursday afternoon near the Sompura NICE Toll stretch. Fire and emergency personnel rushed to the spot and worked to bring the flames under control.

Suspected short circuit

Preliminary investigations suggest the fire may have started due to a short circuit in kitchen or cooking equipment inside the hotel. The flames quickly spread through the structure, causing extensive damage to the premises.
