Bengaluru: In a shocking statement, the Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment A. Narayanaswamy stated that those who dream of a Dalit Chief Minister in the State is a mad person as there is no chance for such a development.

Speaking to mediapersons in Anekal which is located in the city outskirts, he said that the Dalit CM debate is mere for discussion and political gains.

“Nine-time MLA Mallikharjun Kharge is also not allowed to become CM. Dr. G. Parameshwar was defeated to ensure that he will not become CM in 2013. There are many reasons for a Dalit not getting a chance to become a minister,” he said.
