Bengaluru: On Saturday December 25, State Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar informed that seven new cases of Omicron variant have been confirmed in the State.
“Seven new cases of Omicron variant have been confirmed in Karnataka on December 25,” tweeted Sudhakar.
Two of the seven had travelled from Delhi, one from the United States, one each from Zambia, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, and one was a primary contact of the UK traveller.

“All primary and secondary contacts have been tracked, traced, and tested,” he said.
With this, the total Omicron case tally has reached 38 in the State.
